I’m Back

Well people I’m back from the almost done remodeling adventure we’re on!!!!!!! Be praying for us. We still need to paint the ceiling, and one other wall. Then all we have to do is hall everything back in, and put it where it goes. Then we are done!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone is doing OK.

Have any of you people ever been textured. As in gotten in the way on accident and gotten it all over yourself. Well it’s not fun, especially not fun for girls once it dry’s.

Well I’m am an expert painter, but don’t ask me to paint for you. I’ll turn you down.

I know this is a bad place to end, but I need to go paint.

Humility

“Humility is an accurate view of our abilities. Confedence comes later after the accurate view is established” You know I really like this quote. It gives us a really good definition of the attitude of humility. Hope this helps you this week.

 LET IT SNOW

 

 Joe and Joan were sitting down to their usual morning cup of coffee
listening to the weather report on the radio. “There will be 3 to 5
inches of snow today, and a snow emergency has been declared,” the weather report said. “You must park your cars on the odd numbered side
of the streets.”                                                                                                        Joe said, “Jeez, okay,” and got up from his coffee.

  The next day they were sitting down with their morning cups of coffee.
The weather forecast was, “There will be 2 to 4  inches of snow today,
and a snow emergency has been declared. You must park your cars on the
even numbered side of the streets.”
Again Joe replied, “Jeez, okay,” and got up from his coffee.

  Two days later, again they’re sitting down with their cups of coffee and the weather forecast said, “There will be 6 to 8 inches of snow
today, and a snow emergency has been declared. You must park your cars
on the…” and the power went out and Joe didn’t get the rest of the
instructions.

He turned to Joan, “Jeez, what am I going to do now, Joan?”
Joan replied, “Aw, Joe, just leave the car in the  garage   today.”

Gratefulness-2

You know gratefulness goes hand-in-hand with thankfulness. If we aren’t thankfull we can’t be gratefull.

What helped mw realize this was I have had a real problem responding to differant people, and I was wondering why. So I asked myself “whats wrong?” The next night at supper my Mom & Dad were talking about how both of these character qualities really help with our attitudes towards other people and God. So I started to ask myself, am I gratefull, &       thankfull? I am still working on these things everyday so I don’t know if they have helped with my attitude, but we will see. I hope this is a blessing to you, and I also hope you will try this as well. It could help you with your walk with the LORD.

This weeks Bible verse:                                                                                            Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Gratefulness

You know I was just thinking about this Character Quality. This is something very hard to do. Gratefulness is “making known to God and others in what way they have benifited my life”.1st Corinthians 4; 7 ¶ For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
We really need to think about this verse. It would really help in our daily walk with the Lord. Let this be a challenge to you this week.

Branson

Ok so we went to Branson this week, and we had a lot of fun . We left on monday at a pretty good time, and got there at 5pm. We got unpacked (like we were goning to be spending 2 1/2weeks there:-). We then started on the 6th season of stargate, (by the way they are really good, better then smallville.) Got to bed late, got up late. HEY!!!!! It’s vacation!!! We went shopping on wenesday, ( well the girls went shopping on wenesday, I was broke; kinda hard to shop). Thursday we went to the Roy Rogers Happy Trails Theater & Museum. It was cool!!!!!! The have trigger there ( the real trigger as in the stuffed trigger). Roy Rogers real name was Leonard Slye. That is all I will tell about the museum to  some people. You need to go there yourself. Well we got home safe on friday at 7:00pm. So there it is people.

Well on e more storie to tell before I go. The boys got some really cool guns while we went shopping. Soo we decided to play with them outside for a little while. So out we went playing ARMY. Matthew and I were the snipers so we went to higher ground to get a better veiw. While we were up there the security drove by and stopped right by the guy’s on the ground. We heard some talking and decided to wait for the security to drive on by. Well come to find out their had been some kids who were shooting out windows in other buildings and cars but they couldn’t catch them, and they thought we were them. Well we weren’t, but we still decided to play on the ground. Well thats the story.

Driving Permit

My dad told me that when I got my math done for the year that I could get my permit. Well I got my math done, but I don't get to get it till after vacation. Do you want to know the reason why? WEEEEELLLLLL they didn't want me to be tempted to drive on vacation:-) at 65-70 mph with the van full of people and stuff. Couldn't you guy's see that "SRRRRRRREEEEECCCCCCHHHHHHHHH" ouch did you have to do that Paul? "well I didn't mean to". Yeah if it happened to anybody it would happen to me. So I won't be getting my permit till after vacation. Well  I hope you guy's are happy. END OF POST

VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally get to go on vacation. It is going to be so much fun, we are going to see the Teton Mountains, and Yellowstone Park. Last year we went out east this year we are going west,(more keychains) so we are going to have so much fun! My grandma is gonig on vacation with us to, so that will make it even better.

well what should i say. well i've weighed 150 for 2 1/2 years give or take a few:-) Or i could say that Jason Santoyo Graduated from BT this last week & I got a sun burn while being there & i peeled. SOOOO dave (if read this) if or when (probably if) I come to yours I will have a face mask on:-) I'm just rambling. 

well we are having a Childrens Workshop this weekend hope it goes well. Be praying!!!

Nicknames

Yaknow some people get nicknames while they are growing up, but some people don’t. I don’t know what brought this to mind, but I thought I would write about this. In my family my brothers & sisters gave eachother nicknames, like Stephen called himself TeDe because he couldn’t say Stephen. It stuck!!!!! Jonathan started calling my sister Esther Essy. It stuck. My sister Naomi’s nickname is Nomy, (I don’t know who started that one).Jonathans is Jonnymac. My sister Joanna’s is Jo because when mom was still expecting her we didn’t know if she was a girl or a boy. If she was going to be aboy mom & dad were going to name her Joseph Henry, but she was a girl so she was named Joanna Lynn Spilger, but the nickname Jo stuck. The oldest in my family was Anna. She is married & has 5 kids. Her nickname is Annabanana (not that she likes it). Me on the other hand didn’t have a nickname. You see it is hard to shorten Paul any farther, but you can’t add any thing onto it, like Polyanna, or paulin. ( Not a boys name, or nickname, & it just didn’t fit).Jonathan calles me “muscles” I don’t know why. Ii might be that I can do things that he can’t do. But that will change as soon as he starts to grow up more and add strength to himself. I fyou know what I mean.

For the people that I see on Sunday’s & Wednesday’s DON’T MAKE UP A NICKNAME AMONG YOUSELVES AND START TO CALL ME THAT I’M FINE WITHOUT ANICKNAME IF IT’S STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!:-)
